Build a Youth Community Center to Empower Girls

Dear supporters, 

We are thrilled to share an exciting update on the progress of our Youth Community Centre (YCC) in Livingstone, Zambia! With council approval for construction secured, we have been actively planning and organizing behind the scenes to bring this transformative project to life.

The Youth Community Centre is designed to be a safe, supportive, and dynamic space where young people can develop essential skills, build confidence, and engage with their community. Through educational, vocational, and health-focused programs, the centre will empower youth with the resources and opportunities they need to create a brighter future for themselves and their families. Additionally, life-skills workshops for women will provide training in sustainable livelihoods, further strengthening the community.

Vision: To create a vibrant, inclusive space where youth are empowered to reach their full potential through education, skills training, and community engagement.
Mission: To equip young people with the confidence, resilience, and skills they need to become self-reliant individuals who positively contribute to their communities.

What’s Next?

At the end of March, we will be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony at the site in Livingstone. This special event will bring together our partners, stakeholders, government ministries, and the local community to celebrate this major milestone. The groundbreaking marks the official start of the building process, and soon after, we will begin laying the foundations!
