Due to a lack of proper accommodation and school facilities, the need for a genuine home and school buildings are a great necessity. Currently out of 110, 56 children are accommodated and the immediate needs like education requirements, food, clothing, personal supplies are required. It is dependent on donations that at times are not consistent. The distribution of food, medical care and education also fluctuates and our desire is to provide stability in their lives.
110 orphaned and vulnerable children need immediately basic accommodation, education and other basic necessities for life. 20% children are HIV positive and need medical support and balanced diet many of them have been neglected after knowing they are sick and mothers are from poor families and single mothers who lack basic necessities to support them in life. over 1,750,000 people are affected with HIV in Uganda and 68% of Ugandans according to previous census are below the poverty line.
This project will provide the necessary accommodation, education and the basic necessities to solve the above stated problem and also provide them with stable steady supply of the basic necessities and environment.
In the long run this will help the children achieve their dreams of becoming better citizens and provide them the necessary education which will help the children break the cycle of poverty.
