Dear Friends,
Thank you so much for praying. We have finally come to the end of our school year. We have had happy time top class children graduating to primary one.
We are thrilled that three Tasmanians, French, Meadows and Mackrell from MMM Australia worked at the God’s Love Home school from 7 – 25 November. They did a number of very good jobs but there are still many more to do. They were assisted by Okpoa, electrician and materials buyer and six local tradesmen and labourers. During that time the team constructed and installed: ceilings and fans in the classroom blocks, gutters, downpipes on all buildings and connected to two new water tanks, converted a garage into a classroom, created a new kitchen with roof and sink, enlarged two classrooms, installed lights and fans throughout with a new distribution board, constructed a 2m high 20 m long security wall. The team used 4.5 tons of cement, plus approx. 25 tons of sand and stones, all of which had to be barrowed onto the school site from the laneway where small trucks deposited the materials. We are praying for another team next year to come and volunteer to do the other works that need to be done. In Particular, we need to build two new staff house and a two storey classroom on an adjacent block which we are purchasing.
We are thrilled again for the support given towards renovation work and please, we would greatly appreciate your continual support especially to build two new staff house and a two storey classroom.
Mathew 2;2- ‘’Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We have seen his star as it arose, and we have come to worship him.’’
May the Lord see you through the coming festival seasons as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and the New Year. Please share our needs to friends, families, church,….
Blessings,
James mukiibi
