Today, 60 Dream Rooms across South Africa are giving children in hospital a place to play, learn and feel like children again.
For many children facing a long hospital stay, weeks or even months can pass without being in a classroom. A Dream Room gives them an opportunity to continue learning through educational games, creative activities and other resources that support their development while they receive treatment.
It also gives them something just as important: time away from their hospital bed. They can play, create, explore and spend time with other children in a space that feels different from the ward.
Every day, these rooms are being used by children who need that experience.
Keeping 60 Dream Rooms running takes ongoing support. Educational materials are used and need to be replaced. Activities need to be refreshed. Technology and equipment need care so that children can continue to use them.
Your donation helps make these daily experiences possible.
You have already helped us bring the Dream Room programme to children across South Africa. Now, you can help us sustain these spaces and the opportunities they provide.
Continue your support today and help ensure that children in hospital can keep learning, playing and dreaming while they receive the care they need.
