Dear donors,
We are excited to share the latest progress from the Crece desde Abajo community space! The foundations and drainage systems for the new sector—dedicated to bathrooms, an accessible bathroom, a kitchen, and a listening room—are now complete. Around 75% of the steel frame panels for this new area have been constructed and assembled, and the septic tank and pit have been installed.
Work has also continued on modifications to the existing hall and the extension that local residents had started, ensuring that the entire space functions smoothly. In addition, we held an introductory workshop on Steel Framing technology, bringing together adults and youth from the neighborhood to learn and engage with the construction process.
Currently, the new extension is receiving its roof, and the remaining steel frame structure is being completed to allow for wall cladding and flooring. Each step brings us closer to a vibrant space for learning, culture, and community gatherings.
Your support makes this progress possible—please continue to back the project so we can share even more amazing updates next time!
Cheers!
