More than 3.3 million people living with disabilities in Pakistan and unemployment ratio is so high due to non-availability of Special education facilities for them, due to the situation people with disabilities facing challenges, FRDP Planning to train the people with differently-abled on different micro business and help them to start something by themselves to enjoy the life. FRDP will also link those who interested to expand their business with Microfinance Institutions.
An estimated 1bn people, or 15% of the world's population, are living with disabilities. 3.3 million people living in disabilities in Pakistan, left at the margins of society and facing a world steeped in discrimination, pity and shame, persons with disabilities have limited access to quality education and dignified employment. Disable people face many challenges due to fewer jobs & economically unstable, like finding a life partner, fewer opportunities at the workplace, families don't support
FRDP Planning to support those disabled people who have been living in most vulnerable conditions due to non-availability of the resources to build the capacity and help them to start small businesses to help themselves and live the life like the normal person. We will also trained them as per market strategies so they can sell their products online on FB and some of them at shops at house level, also we will connect them with microfinance institutions for small loans if they want to expend.
Prejudice and low expectations towards people with disabilities will be dramatically reduced. People with disabilities will be seen for the talents and values that they have, and not by what they cannot do. People with disabilities will have the opportunity to have the dignity and income that comes from a business, job while being a fully valued and equal part of our communities
