Thank you so much for supporting this new Mercy In Action birth center building project on Luzon Island in the Philippines!
Though we are still in th building phase (the fire sprinklers are being tested this week) we are already doing prenatal care, postpartum and newborn care, childbirth education, and using the building for training sessions for local midwives, doctors and nurses.
Parents and professionals alike have been so impressed when they walk through the doors at how beautiful and cheerful the space is, with lots of natural light, sparks of color from the posters and artwork, and of course the warmth of the welcome they receive from the staff.
Soon construction will begin on our large community education center as well, the area we are building on the third floor that will allow us to train 30-40 participants at a time.
Your help with this building project is very appreciated! We are so thankful for your help with construction costs, set up, and purchasing necessary furnishings and medical equipment.
Thank you for joining our team as a supporter, you are invaluable to the effort to improve health and healthcare for the families in the Philippines. Mercy In Action clinics and birth centers are the one place where the poorest women gets the same level of excellent care as the richest women, and you make that happen.
