We are partnering with a locally based nonprofit, SEED Madagascar, in the Southeastern Anosy region of Madagascar to build the first 3D printed school - supporting education access and addressing the problem of overcrowding.
According to UNESCO, 615 million children cannot read a single sentence. How do we prevent health epidemics, lift economies, and empower people in creating innovative solutions? Education directly influences attainable opportunities. In Madagascar, 1 out of 3 primary age children will not finish school. Overcrowding is one of the largest factors in preventing children from receiving a quality education.
Building a 3D printed school will help solve the issue of overcrowding, create opportunities, decrease construction time, and environmental waste - supporting education access will have ripple effects in the community.
We aim to disrupt traditional school construction methods and use the power of technology to effect socially impactful change. Aligning ourselves with the United Nations' SDGs 4 and 9, we are supporting quality education, industrial innovation, and infrastructure.
