Angels Baby Sanctuary wants a bigger home to take care of more babies. At present our home can take care of six babies. We are looking for a home that can take in 12 babies. We also want to add on more homes and start an Early Childhood Development Center that can cater for our babies as well as the underprivileged children in the area. Our target is 10 000 bricks @ R180.00 per brick. You can make a once off donation or do a monthly donation.
In South African there are 3500 babies abandoned annually. This was a figure stated in 2010. We believe that this number is much higher. Out of every three babies that are abandoned only one makes it alive into a place of safety.
We are planning to get a bigger place, so that we can take care of more babies. At present our small home can only accommodate 6 babies. A bigger place will allow us to take care of more babies giving them a loving and safe environment which enable them to grow into more confident adults.
At Angels we strongly believe that the first 1000 days of a babies life is crucial, we are not part of the the first 280 is out of our control, but from the time they arrive at our home we ensure that they are loved and cared for so that they feel they belong. Children are our future and giving them a good start in their lives will ensure that they are strong and confident individuals.
