Thank you—we can’t say it enough. California once again witnessed the devastating consequences of wildfires in 2022. As the state and its residents grapple with the aftermath of these wildfires, it's important to acknowledge the incredible resilience and spirit of communities that have emerged in the face of such adversity.
Your generous support of the California Wildfire Relief Fund powered a flexible, trust-based grant to The Latino Community Foundation. The organization provided much-needed resources to families affected by the wildfires and community-based organizations working to strengthen and empower the Latino community. This is particularly important given that Latino and Indigenous communities have been disproportionately affected by natural disasters and often have limited access to resources and support. Your contribution to the California Wildfire Relief Fund, no matter how big or small, has played a crucial role in advancing community-led recovery, making a real difference in the lives of those impacted by wildfires.
This fund is no longer accepting donations, and this will be the last fund report of this kind from our team.
