This summer, we launched a cross-platform campaign to fund one CAMP+ session. Thanks to your generosity on GlobalGiving and beyond, we exceeded the goal and raised $59,124—enough to run a full session for 16 families (16 mothers and 22 children) this upcoming month.
These families are living with loss, captivity, uncertainty, or a loved one’s active duty. Your support creates a safe place to process trauma and rebuild inner strength, together.
This session is possible because of hundreds of compassionate people: service members, volunteers, donors, businesses, community fundraisers, and you. We are deeply grateful for your support.
What your gift makes possible
3 weeks of structured therapeutic support for 16 families
A safe, trauma-informed environment for 22 children to regulate emotions and reconnect with learning and play
Ongoing post-camp follow-up with psychologists and sustained peer support
Why this matters
Our goal is to reduce chronic stress, stabilize emotional health, and restore inner resources for both mothers and children. In 2023, CAMP+ was recognized nationally as a methodological guideline for professionals working with families in difficult life circumstances, reflecting quality and trust.
Story highlight: Yulia’s family
After Yulia lost her husband Andriy in the battles for Vuhledar, she and her children, Denis and Solomiya, joined CAMP+ this summer. There they found structure, a safe space to grieve, and a community that understands. Their journey reflects what CAMP+ offers every family: calm, connection, and the first steps toward hope.
What’s next
We will monitor participation, completion, and well-being indicators (stress, sleep, social connection) and, with consent, share de-identified quotes and photos. A post-camp update this fall, in time for the next report, will summarize outcomes and learning and include heartfelt stories, short videos, and memories from participants.
Although the summer 2025 CAMP+ fundraiser is now closed, we will continue raising funds for future sessions of the camp on GlobalGiving so more families can receive support in 2026.
Thank you for helping us surpass the target and for standing with families who have sacrificed so much. Your support ensures every mother and child has a path to healing—and a community to walk it with them.
