SEXUAL ABUSE

It is nomenculture that the 25% the India’s population referred as scheduled caste or scheduled tribes ( Dalit) which is classified outside the caste hierarchy. Their participation in terms of labour in agricultural and construction level comes to 90% but their ownerships of lands and property and their access to education and employment is a serious one. The main source of income of these Dalits is daily wage earning. Especially Dalit women are majority of landless labour force. Target people are daily wage earners earning Rs.100 to men, Rs.80/- to women per day i.e.They doesn’t have any infrastructure or any equipments not evening owning any land and living in mud-huts. they belongs to (ethnic) scheduled castes/ tribes or Dalits or Harijans community and outcaste caste in Hindu religion. They are all Indians. The project focus on both genders and to provide supports through women groups and youth groups. They are physically  weak and have no gender equality. The men are dominating women and women are compelled for dowry for getting marriage.

The main principles of the project proposal were to: sensitise the beneficiaries about women empowerment and gender issues; create awareness about identification of problems of women services and programmes, help lines and support services for women in distress; develop communication, negotiation and counselling skills; identify counselling methods, types, techniques and processes involved therein; and promote networking among NGOs and institutions providing support services to women in distress. Broad contents of the project proposal is situational analysis of women in distress, laws related to women in distress, identification of problems, diagnosis and understanding the interventions of the state and supportive services, role of different agencies/organisations involved in cases related to women in distress, ensuring minimum standards in delivery of services and institutional care, skills/techniques relating to communication and negotiation, counselling, networking etc.

q This is 12 months project - From 01 / 06 / 2023 TO 31 / 05 / 2024.

q Till their life sustainability, this seed money is to be continuation revolving and behind the old and new beneficiaries in five years period.

q The beneficiaries will benefit after the project is finished through the creation of human resources by providing them with monitoring and skills on essential subjects.

q BOSS will continue to its relationship with the support of program coordinator the target groups of people and will provide them new knowledge if any.

q The Project’s sustainability is going to be ensured through community participation and seeking grants from local resources  for future interventions.

q Strengthened communitity movement and Stakeholdres comittee and CBOs could Arrange the premises .
