The Cancer Education in Schools project is ready to launch and aims to empower students and teachers with knowledge about cancer prevention, early detection, and healthy lifestyle choices. During this preparation phase, we have developed educational materials, identified partner schools, and trained facilitators to deliver interactive sessions.
This project is designed to equip young people with the knowledge to recognize early warning signs, practice self-care, and encourage their families and communities to seek timely medical care. By promoting awareness from a young age, the project seeks to reduce fear, stigma, and misinformation about cancer.
We are excited to begin implementation once donations are received and remain committed to creating healthier, more informed communities in Ghana.
