In Ghana, cancer treatment is often out of reach for the average person. With the high cost of chemotherapy, surgery, lab tests, and radiotherapy and very limited government support many patients delay or abandon treatment altogether. This delay drastically reduces their chances of recovery. Families are forced to choose between saving a loved one and basic survival. Without financial assistance, many patients especially women and children do not survive.
The Cancer Treatment Fund will provide need-based financial support to cancer patients from underserved communities. Funds will go directly toward paying hospital bills, diagnostic tests, life-saving treatments, and prescription medications. Our team works closely with hospitals and oncology units to identify patients in need, verify cases, and ensure timely payment to the right providers. This will allow patients to start or continue treatment without interruption.
By reducing treatment abandonment due to cost, this fund will improve survival outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients in Ghana.
