The Cancer Treatment Fund project is prepared to support children and adults in Ghana who are diagnosed with cancer but cannot afford treatment. During this preparation phase, we have identified partner hospitals, outlined procedures for providing treatment assistance, and established a system to prioritize patients based on urgency and need.
This fund aims to cover medical costs, medications, and related expenses, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent access to life-saving care. By making treatment more accessible, the project seeks to improve survival rates and support families during a difficult journey.
We are ready to begin implementation once donations are received and are committed to providing timely, transparent, and impactful support to cancer patients across Ghana.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
