Dear GlobalGiving Team,
This is an update of Carelinks Capacity Building to care for seniors and disabled (63698). The aim of this project is to train and support the urgent need for care providers for those most in need especially seniors in their homes, veterans with physical disabilities, those with developmental disabilities and those in long-term care homes, transitional facilities, hospitals and address the shortage of healthcare staffing, fostering improved healthcare outcomes, quality of life and make a positive impact in our communities.
Whereas we have not been so lucky to raise enough funds for our project, Carelinks organization is continuing to support the healthcare sector with additional healthcare workforce, and we have been able to train and deploy at least 40 more health care providers since the project was launched 3 months back.
Carelinks remains focused at providing at least 20,000 care providers and PSWs in the next 3-5 years to provide the much-needed care for people to have care within the comfort of their homes. We are seeking for more donations and funders for out project.
