Subject: Celebrating Impact: Our Carbon Credits program will now offset over 1,000 Tons of CO2e and Create a Brighter Futures in Guatemala!

Dear Friend of ATC,

We're thrilled to share a major milestone achieved through your incredible support for our Solar Power Carbon Credit Initiative in Guatemala! Thanks to you, this program is not only meeting but exceeding expectations, bringing clean energy and tangible hope to families in need.

Program Highlights & Your Impact:

  • Deepening Our Reach: Our dedicated teams have pushed further into remote rural areas, often requiring extra effort to transport equipment, allowing us to serve many more families than initially planned.
  • Community-Focused Selection: In partnership with the 55 local traditional midwives of ACTOCHI, we prioritize families with young children, and families about to have children, ensuring the benefits reach the most vulnerable right from the start.
  • Transformative Change: Families are replacing hazardous kerosene and candles with safe solar light. We rigorously track the impact through surveys and ongoing monitoring, consistently finding families save approximately $5 weekly – crucial funds now used for better food and school supplies.
  • Major Environmental Milestone: Cumulatively, the solar systems you've helped install will offset over 1,000 tons of CO2 equivalent emissions! Each system continues to save over a ton of CO2e annually.

Your generosity is the driving force behind healthier homes, economic savings, educational opportunities, and significant environmental protection. Reaching this 1,000-ton milestone and exceeding our outreach goals is a testament to what we can achieve together.

Thank you for making this vital work possible and for sharing in this success!

With sincere appreciation,

John Barrie
