On World Health Day, this project will deliver lifesaving medical care directly to people living on the streets and in underserved settlements. Through mobile, street-level clinics, we provide basic treatment, screenings, referrals, and health education, meeting people where they are and restoring dignity, health, and hope to those left behind by traditional healthcare systems.
Globally, at least 4.5 billion people lack full access to essential health services, and preventable illnesses still claim millions of lives each year. In Nigeria, over 100 million people face limited or no access to basic healthcare. Street-connected populations are most affected, delaying care until illness becomes life-threatening and costly.
To mark World Health Day, trained medical teams will deliver street-level care through mobile clinics. Services include basic treatment, health screening, first aid, referrals, and health education. By bringing care directly to streets and informal settlements, we remove barriers of cost, distance, and stigma, ensuring timely care for the most vulnerable.
To reduce preventable illness and deaths among underserved urban populations. Regular street-level care will improve early treatment, reduce emergency cases, and build trust in health systems. Over time, this approach supports healthier communities and advances universal health coverage for all.
