Pointters’ Academic Career Empowerment (ACE) Program is designed to help students explore their career interests and develop practical skills through hands-on learning experiences. The program focuses on supporting students who may be uncertain about their next steps after graduation, giving them the opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications. This year, Pointters is expanding the ACE Program by incorporating new workshops that introduce students to diverse and in-demand career paths such as cosmetology, culinary arts, and legal professions. These interactive sessions allow participants to gain exposure to different industries, interact with professionals, and discover what career path best aligns with their talents and passions.
The Manager-in-Training (MiT) Program takes career exploration to the next level by providing students with internships and job-shadowing experiences at major companies. Through this program, high school and college students are placed with partner organizations where they can observe and participate in day-to-day operations, gaining valuable insights into professional environments. Pointters is proud to announce that the MiT Program is expanding its reach by partnering with leading companies such as Amazon, Plexus, and Amcor, among others. These collaborations open doors for students to explore fields in logistics, manufacturing, technology, business management, and more, giving them a solid foundation for future career success.
Together, the ACE and MiT Programs form a powerful pipeline that bridges the gap between education and employment. By combining hands-on workshops with real-world professional experience, Pointters empowers students to make informed career decisions and build the confidence needed to pursue their goals. These programs not only prepare students for the workforce but also cultivate leadership, responsibility, and ambition—qualities that will serve them well throughout their personal and professional lives.
