Do you remember Thu, My, and Tuyen, the amazing young ladies who advanced to the final round of 12 teams in the Technovation Challenge 2021? In this photo they paused from their 'video shoot' to take a photo with Kidspire staff members Tra My and Nhinh. Look at those smiles!
In 2022 - thanks to your support - Kidspire expanded Technovation programming to reach 150 girls from across 14 orphanages. With a noticeable increase in self-confidence after seeing their peers advance to the finals in 2021, 33 teams of girls set-out to brainstorm an idea, and code an app, that would improve their local communities. Team Superman, pictured below, came up with an idea that caught the judges attention - and they advanced to the semi-finals! Bravo!
