We definitely like to get creative with the names of our cats. Some of them have names like fruits -like Pitanga- others have descriptive names, like Fluffy and Panda, and others have names that give a hint of their origin story, or the relationship with the person who named it, like Granny, named as such for being our first cat, and Best Friend, who was clearly someone's favorite. Our newest member arrived as a kitten. We spotted her a few weeks ago and noticed she was quite docile and a little scared, but she turned out to be domestic enough to easily grab her, take her to the vet for a full check up and spay her.
Now that she is an official member of the clan, she was named as GoogleDrive by an Swiss intern working at the moment at SINAL while writing her thesis (you could say the amount of work we put in on the platform might have influenced her choice a bit...)
