For those of our supporters who have followed us for a long time, you know we opened this crowdfunding project to be able to care for our sheltered cats. However, as the years have gone by, SINAL has grown to be a haven of many animals - even endangered endemic ones, like the golden lion Tamarin!
However, another domestic group of furry friends we take care of, as some of our supporters may have noticed, are canine. SINAL went through a phase of receiving several abandoned dogs, and we have been working hard to spay them, nurse them back to health, and get them adopted, in the best of cases.
In this report, we thought we would write a little bit about Pedro, the oldest dog in the gang. Although his eyesight and hips aren't the same anymore, he is still all about joining our guests for walks. Funny enough, he took some of the cats' habits, as he "purrs" and rubs up against people to get some love.
Pedro is a quirky personality, a young soul despite his years, and loves to hang out right by the main entrance to greet however is arriving at the campus. On behalf of Pedro, and his domestic and wild friends, a big thank you for supporting us!
