Cazuca Futbol Club

The year 2025 marked a period of significant growth for Cazucá Fútbol Club. During this year, more than 50 male and female athletes strengthened their technical football skills, reinforced their sense of belonging, and built strong social cohesion within the team, enabling them to achieve meaningful sporting and personal accomplishments.

Throughout 2025, the Club participated in various competitions and activities organized by the Bogotá Football League, achieving strong results across different categories. These spaces allowed players to enhance their competitive skills and gain valuable experience by facing diverse teams, contributing to their overall development as athletes.

As a major highlight of the year, Brayan Garay, one of the Club’s coaches, participated in the Training of Trainers program promoted by Kick Fair in Germany. This experience equipped him with tools to use street football as a means of social transformation, promoting democratic education, equal participation, and teamwork. This training will strengthen the Club’s work in 2026, reinforcing Cazucá Football Club as a platform that goes beyond sports training to support life projects and the development of life skills for children and young people.

Looking ahead to 2026, Cazucá Football Club aims to continue strengthening the capacities of children and young people who see football as a pathway to building their life projects, while participating in high-impact events and leveraging the momentum of the FIFA World Cup to showcase football as a powerful tool for social change.

As of August 2025, we have enrolled 55 players in our team. During this time, they have strengthened their technical skills, deepened their sense of belonging, and contributed to greater social cohesion within the group, enabling the team to achieve important milestones together.

Throughout 2025, the team has participated in the Bogotá soccer league while remaining actively engaged in the Foundation’s activities, demonstrating its importance and commitment. In the league, our players have enhanced their competitive abilities and gained valuable experiences by facing teams with diverse strengths and styles of play, which has further contributed to their development.

For the remainder of 2025, we will focus on building a team that not only advances in technical and tactical aspects but also projects its life goals through sport. The progress achieved so far has been very rewarding, as we have witnessed significant growth in technical performance, tactical understanding, and the values that each player demonstrates both on and off the field.

We carry out ongoing, detailed monitoring of each process, ensuring close coordination between the club and the Foundation so that every stage of training is aligned and mutually reinforcing. This joint effort allows us to provide close support to our athletes, equipping them with the tools they need to face future sporting and personal challenges with confidence.
