Centro Bonilla | Financial Aid Program

Centro Bonilla is deeply grateful to share an update on our financial aid program and the meaningful impact made possible through recent donations. We have truly felt supported by the contribution we received, which has allowed us to continue offering essential services to individuals in our community who require financial assistance in order to participate.

Through the financial aid program, Centro Bonilla has continued to provide holistic and integrative services, including individual therapy with a licensed therapist, sound healing, expressive arts, reiki, and asanas (yin yoga with sound healing). These offerings remain rooted in care, accessibility, and healing, and they are essential resources for many individuals and families within our communities.

We are honored to partner with a licensed therapists based in Bonao, Dominican Republic, who remains deeply engaged with Centro Bonilla and the community we serve. Through the financial aid program, they offers individual therapy sessions while also actively participating in community gatherings and activities. Their consistent presence and involvement have helped build trust and safety, allowing community members to feel more open and supported in engaging with therapy.

As a result of ongoing conversations and relationship-building with women in Jayaco, Bonao, we have noticed a gradual decrease in the stigma surrounding therapy. We continue to encourage both women and men in our community to take advantage of these services, especially when they can support personal healing and strengthen family well-being.

We are incredibly thankful for the donations that make this work possible. The support we receive through the financial aid program continues to be a blessing to our community, and we are hopeful that this collective care will continue so that those most in need can access healing services with dignity and support.
