We continue to build community; “El patrimonio está en la olla” is a Project who seeks to rescue the memory around Colombian gastronomy and at the same time bring closer the women of Santa Rosa and Moralba, eliminating racial and cultural barriers.
10 women meet (eachother) every weekend to share traditional cuisine of theirs homes, preparing typical Colombian dishes and sharing cooking secrets like traditions from their family or from their origin region. Every weekend a couple of women, whom we call “Pepper and Oregano” are in charge of teaching the rest of women how to prepare the dishes and the history behind each food.
This Project will be carried out until december, for the closing we will be holding gastronomic event in wich women will have the opportunity to sell their dishes to a wide variety of audiences. With this event we seek to 1. Promote the culinary talnt of women and 2. Encourage social entrepreneurship from the gastronomy.

The goal now is to start activities, workshops and trainings to take advantage of this tool and its potential to articulate community work. In October we have started planting and transplanting.
