Climate change has intensified extreme weather events, such as droughts and floods, devastating crops and hindering agro-ecological food productivity. Aging infrastructure and limited access to modern agricultural techniques further exacerbate these issues. Urban development is encroaching on fertile farmland, reducing available agricultural land. Additionally, small-scale farmers often struggle to sell their produce under fair trade conditions, limiting their income and economic opportunities.
We aim to empower these resilient farmers by providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive. Through your support, we will construct greenhouses to protect crops from harsh weather conditions and extend the growing season, equip farmers with tools to increase efficiency and productivity, train farmers in sustainable agricultural practices and strenghten their ability to integrate into fair trade channels to sell their production.
