ENGLISH

On December 3rd, the founder of the Music for Life Foundation, engineer Xavier A. Torresarpi, passed away. Thanks to his vision of the transformative power of music, thousands of children have been benefited in the state of Potosí. We are eternally grateful to him.

To honour his legacy, on 13 December the MUVI Pozos Orchestra held an End of Year Tribute Concert, showcasing the work of the entire semester and also honouring the person who brought MUVI to life.

There are currently a total of 200 children and adolescents participating in this orchestra, which was able to close the year with various performances and concerts. Among them, concerts in Matehuala, Aguascalientes and several institutions/companies in San Luis Potosi capital.

For 2025, the Foundation will be strengthened thanks to the work of systematisation of the MUVI Model, which will be implemented from this first half of the year.

Thank you very much for continuing to support MUVI and to prevent, through music, violence and crime in Mexico.
