Durante estos dos meses, MUVI ha seguido transformando vidas a través de la música como herramienta de prevención de la violencia y el crimen en México. Nuestros estudiantes han participado en ensayos, presentaciones comunitarias y talleres que fortalecen la disciplina, la colaboración y la esperanza en sus comunidades.

Queremos compartir con ustedes la historia de Oswaldo, exalumno de Villa de Reyes. Gracias al esfuerzo, la constancia y el acompañamiento que recibió en MUVI, hoy se encuentra en Madrid cursando una maestría en música con especialidad en violoncello. Su trayectoria es un ejemplo del impacto que la música puede tener en abrir caminos de paz y desarrollo personal.

Cada ensayo, cada clase y cada presentación que ustedes hacen posible con sus donaciones recurrentes, contribuye a que más jóvenes encuentren alternativas positivas frente a la violencia. Gracias a su apoyo, seguimos construyendo un México más seguro y lleno de oportunidades.

Over the past two months, MUVI has continued to transform lives through music as a powerful tool for preventing violence and crime in Mexico. Our students have taken part in rehearsals, community performances, and workshops that strengthen discipline, collaboration, and hope within their communities.

We are proud to share the story of Oswaldo, a former student from Villa de Reyes. Thanks to his dedication and the guidance he received at MUVI, he is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Music in Madrid, specializing in cello. His journey is a living example of how music can open paths of peace and personal growth.

Concierto Didáctico de la Orquesta MUVI Pozos: Una celebración del aprendizaje y la comunidad

Desde su nacimiento en 2022, la Orquesta MUVI Pozos ha florecido notablemente. Las niñas y niños que la integran no solo han desarrollado habilidades musicales, sino también personales, comunitarias y artísticas que los acompañarán toda la vida.

El repertorio orquestal se ha enriquecido y diversificado, reflejando el compromiso de cada integrante por compartir lo aprendido con generosidad y alegría. Esta evolución musical nos ha permitido ofrecer experiencias significativas a quienes nos rodean.

Fieles a nuestros pilares de retribución y trabajo comunitario, organizamos conciertos didácticos que permiten acercar la música a diferentes públicos. Estos eventos son mucho más que presentaciones; son encuentros donde se teje el vínculo entre la orquesta y la comunidad.

El pasado 14 de junio, vivimos un Concierto Didáctico muy especial. Niñas, niños y personas adultas se reunieron para descubrir el fascinante mundo de los instrumentos musicales: sus sonidos, formas y el papel que desempeñan dentro de la orquesta. Fue una tarde llena de curiosidad, sonrisas y aprendizaje compartido.

Estos conciertos representan nuestra forma de retribuir todo lo que la comunidad nos brinda, creando espacios de encuentro, entendimiento y transformación a través de la música.

MUVI Pozos Didactic Concert: A Celebration of Learning and Community

Since its founding in 2022, the MUVI Pozos Orchestra has blossomed. The children who participate have grown in musical skill, personal development, and artistic and communal expression—nurturing abilities that will accompany them for life.

The orchestra’s repertoire has expanded significantly, reflecting the dedication of its members and their desire to share what they’ve learned with joy and generosity. This musical evolution allows us to offer meaningful experiences to those around us.

Guided by our pillars of community work and giving back, we organize didactic concerts that bring music closer to diverse audiences. These events are far more than performances—they are opportunities to build lasting connections between the orchestra and the community.

On June 14th, we hosted a particularly special Didactic Concert. Children and adults came together to explore the fascinating world of musical instruments: their sounds, shapes, and the role each one plays within the orchestra. It was an afternoon filled with curiosity, smiles, and shared discovery.

These concerts are our way of expressing gratitude for all that the community gives us—creating spaces for connection, understanding, and transformation through music.
