Nestled in the Sundarbans, where nature and education converge, students face unique challenges in pursuit of knowledge due to the remoteness of their locations. The introduction of solar lamps is revolutionizing the educational experience for these students. Solar lamps serve as beacons of light, dispelling the darkness that once hindered evening studies.

In a region where traditional power sources are scarce, these lamps become indispensable tools, extending study hours and creating a conductive environment for learning. This initiative not only addresses the immediate need for illumination but also represents a sustainable solution to the energy crisis.

Bangladesh Environment & Development Society (BEDS) is working to mitigate the problem of electricity for the students of the coastal community to some extent. We have given solar lamps to 2800 students till now so that discontinuity in electricity can’t be a reason of hindrance to their way of education.

By integrating solar lamps into the lives of students near the Sundarbans, we witness a harmonious blend of education, sustainability, and community progress. The glow of these lamps signifies not only the illumination of minds but also the promise of a brighter future for the students of Bangladesh.

We are requesting our respected donors for their cooperation so these students can enlighten their life with education and we can supply solar lamps to a broader scale.
