People living in coastal areas are constantly battling with natural disasters. They have to fight constantly for every means of subsistence. These vulnerable communities are deprived of the socio-economic benefits in the most prominent ways and electricity is surely on the top of the list.
The complexity of the communal life is going behind due to lack of proper electric supply and their life especially the students in the coastal region are drastically being affected. Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is trying to transform the educational landscape for these students by supplying solar lamps among them.
Bangladesh Environment & Development Society (BEDS) is working to mitigate the problem of electricity for the students of the coastal community to some extent. We have given solar lamps to 2800 students till now so that discontinuity in electricity can’t be a reason of hindrance to their way of education.
The funds we are generating is not sufficient enough to fulfill the demands. We are requesting our respected donors for their cooperation so these students can shine in their life with education and we can supply solar lamps to a broader scale.
We would like to thank all our donors for their amazing and continuous support for the coastal deprived people. We are requesting all our donors to start monthly recurring donation by clicking the following link;
