In the remote coastal villages of Bangladesh, the rhythm of life is dictated by the sun and tides. For many families here, electricity is a distant dream, casting a shadow over the educational aspirations of the students.
From the students someone wants to be a doctor, teacher, and engineer. But their dreams of becoming something struggling as their study process is being hampered for the discontinuity of electricity. This ultimately affecting their academic progress and dimming their hopes for a bright future.
But change was on the horizon, thanks to Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS). Recognizing the importance of education and the role of light in fostering learning. BEDS embarked on a mission to illuminate the lives of these young students by distributing solar lamps among them.
BEDS have given solar lamp to 2800 coastal students with a hope that their aspiration of becoming something will be alive among them. But this initiative needs to be taken on a larger scale.
We would like to thank all our donors for their amazing and continuous support for the coastal deprived people. We are requesting all our donors to start monthly recurring donation by clicking the following link;
