Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is a non-profitable development organization that is working for the betterment of the local community and Sundarbans Resources Harvesters Cooperative Society namely BANOJIBI that forest dependent people whose livelihood majorly depend on forest. To improve the living condition, BANOJIBI society producing mangrove-based product like mangrove pickle, mangrove tea, Mowal honey etc. Community members are producing, packaging and marketing these. Different fair and workshop, cottage are using as a marketing place. Mangrove-based product that is a cooperative product and community members want to explore it national and internation market. Without the contribution of different platform can’t get these market linkage. BEDS is currently trying to raise funds from GlobalGiving platform in order to help those marginal people in the way of income generation for their better future with better economic conditions. We also hope that through taking support from various corners they will be able to use their products for earning their sound livelihood.
