Challenge

The victims' families are usually questioned and stereotyped as being poor caregivers because of the childrens' appearance and low self-esteem. Additionally as these families have a low income and treatment is expensive they tend to terminate treatment, which produces the worsening of sequels and abandonment of his/her life's project, which makes them an economic load for their family and community.

Solution

To provide a free-of-charge and accessible integral rehabilitation to allow physical and psychological development of the burnt children to be able to continue their path of life. ANIQUEM is the mean which provides this help as well as the confection of compressive dressing, splints and silicone masks.

Long-Term Impact

This project will help 7 children and together through the journey of recovery , empower them to reinsert themselves into their day-to-day life, school-life and future work-life even with the presence of discrimination. Your support will help save a life!
