Scholarships to the APHN Congress

Thanks to your generous donation, the IAHPC was able to award scholarships to palliative care workers to attend the Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Conference in Incheon, Republic of Korea, on October 4-7, 2023.

  • A senior lecturer in nursing at The Open University of Sri Lanka, Columbo, Sri Lanka.
  • A clinical consultant in oncology and palliative care, as well as a senior lecturer and researcher, at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada Hospital, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
  • A registered nurse with additional training in nephrology, ostomy and sound care and is a diabetes educator and a faculty member at De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, Batangas, Philippines.
  • A medical officer in the Department of Medical and Radiation Oncology at Sarawak General Hospital, Kuching, Malaysia
  • A senior resident at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India.

Congratulations to the grantees! We hope that the congress provided excellent opportunities to expand their knowledge and their networks to advance palliative care policies and care provision in your countries. We look forward to their reports in the next few days.
