It gives gives us a great pleasure to share with you our Jerry Giraffe Sunday School September Report. Since our last report to date all our parishes and ministries has been under National Lockdown.
Every single person has been effected and everyone’s focus was on keeping their families young and old safe from contracting Covid 19.
To the best of our ability the team continued to focus on our organisations core business, keeping our parishes mobilized especially during the devastating COVID-19 pandemic, our team has been working from home on some inspiring liturgy for recent and near future events to be celebrated in our parishes or as in these trial times we celebrate in our homes. All liturgy was emailed to the parish priest and task team members on our data base.
Our Monthly Newsletters to the parishes allowed us the opportunity to share the Jerry Giraffe Sunday school lessons, simplified for the perusal for parents, grandparents and carers caring for the little ones at home during lockdown.
We chose the following topics which we felt was most relevant for our little ones to know, and we trust that our resources were beneficial.
The way forward is a gradual process and we trust that we will receive more feedback in the near future as to how the lessons and stories were appreciated under lockdown.
