Fikelela Aids Project strive towards educating young children about abuse . Recognising that Parents are afraid to talk about this sensitive topic we advocate to Parishes and their communities to use Jerry Giraffe program. Children love to be taught where there is a soft toy involved as well as music. the blessing of using the music and songs that children love makes the journey a bit easier and more comfortable. Seeing the adults move with the children and being at their level makes the sessions enjoyable. The topics discussed with the children brings out the spontaneity and they love a hug from Jerry and making the connection with the number of visits , using the tools and resources to express emotions helps with the sessions. Listening to the response from children as they engage in such a fun filled way it also makes the environment of where the lessons are held so much more enjoyable. Your donation assists us to make a difference to their young lives.
