Jerry Giraffe, talking flower and the start are the best resources we have to relate to children about abuse. Jerry songs are funky the actions and activity gets the children to participate eagerly and without any effort they start singing and expressing themselves. To discipline children today is equally important as it was way back then using the talking flower in a group gets children to understand when they are allowed to speak, when they have to listen and an opportunity to be a star at the support group. We learn from children and children learn from us and if we put the two together we find a common space , a common theme and we are able to enjoy the sessions. Support group sessions for young people are extremely interesting, when you sit back and listen to the questions they raise, there understanding of situations and the responses received as they answer each other. You begin to look forward to the sessions with them. They have had a hard day at school, they have homework to do, they have to do reading and when it is support group session time, the eagerness they present is encouraging as you know that it will be a tremendous learning for everyone. Your donations enables us to reach the hearts of the children the ones who matter most and the ones whose best interest we have at heart. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to touch their lives and to get them to blossom and grow and know that they do contribute to society.
