Everyone is so busy and finding time to attend training is also not easy. We decided to empower our Child and Youth Care Workers together with our Social worker to attend Jerry Giraffe training. Learning about teaching others in a creative way around child abuse and awareness. Friday 13 June we engaged with Think Twice to train about 20 staff members. They came from night shift, those on duty as well as those who were off duty. An interest sparkled and they wanted to learn how to educate other's around child abuse in a fun and creative way but also making an everlasting impact. There were role plays, singing of songs, doing the famous Jerry dance. It was fun and most rewarding . The staff will now reach out to their own communities to their families , to their associates , friends and family as they introduce Jerry Giraffe to make a difference. It starts with you and me making it happen and changing the lives of children. Your donation enables us to touch lives and educate where it matters most.
