GLOBAL GIVING REPORT DECEMBER 2025 –
SUPPORTING 1000 CHILDREN
At this time of the year 25 November till 10 December we are mindful of 16 days of activism no violence against woman and children.
As a build up to that period we had 15 minutes of silence on the 21st December , at 12-00 mid day we had to stop working , lie down for 15 minutes and we included the children to be part of the journey. Dressed in black the ladies covered themselves with purple cloth and this was the message that enough is enough we are not tolerating this type of behaviour and violence no longer as woman.
It drew the necessary attention and gender based violence was declared as a national disaster. It would require more attention, more attempts at education and raising awareness within our communities and schools, businesses, corporates, religious institutions, everyone needs to be involved in an active way. Using Jerry Giraffe awareness program and life skills we will be at the forefront as we journey together.
