The training became available for our parishes since 2012 to date we have had 27 churches and 62 Sunday school teachers trained to run the programme in their Sunday school classes. We have only had positive responses from teachers that implemented the programme.
The resource packs that they receive when completing the training has helped teachers tremendously – the kids respond very well to visual teaching.
They cannot wait for Sunday school because someone is going to get a chance to put the leave on the Tree, “Jerry is our best friend I wish I can have a Jerry at home.”
The programme is implemented at most of our parishes as part of the Sunday School year planner.
Fikelela would like to host another training session in 2015 as we already had some request from parishes showing their interest and wanting to send more teachers to benefit from the training.
