Churches helping to project children from abuse

By Mildred Jutzen | Programme manager

62 Sunday School teachers from 27 churches have now been trained to run the exciting Jerry Giraffe programme in thier church.

Through games, role plays and songs, teh children learn that they are special. they learn about their special places that other people mustnt touch, and they learn that there are good feelings (star feelings) and bad feelings (stone feelings).

Through role plays they learn how to tell people about how they feel. They also learn to identify who they can talk to if they feel bad, and also what is a good time to talk to an adult

We are excited for our upcoming training on the 19th of September when new Sunday school teacher will be trained and new churches come on board the program
