400 vulnerable children in Sokoto are living on the streets, exposed to hunger, abuse, and exploitation. Your support can rescue them and restore their future. This project will identify, protect, and rehabilitate at-risk children through shelter, healthcare, education access, and family reintegration. By working with local communities and child protection agencies, we will help children move from danger to safety and opportunity.
Hundreds of children in Sokoto survive on the streets without protection, food, or education. Many face abuse, child labor, trafficking risks, and severe neglect. Poverty and family breakdown push children into unsafe environments where their rights are violated. Without urgent intervention, these children remain trapped in cycles of vulnerability, missing the education and support needed to build a better future.
This project will rescue and support 400 vulnerable children through a coordinated child protection program. Children will receive safe shelter, meals, healthcare, counseling, and education support. Social workers will help reunite children with families when safe and provide life-skills training. Community awareness campaigns will strengthen child protection systems and prevent more children from ending up on the streets.
Rescuing 400 children today creates safer communities tomorrow. Children will return to school, regain stability, and grow in safe family environments. Over time, the project will reduce street-child vulnerability in Sokoto and strengthen community child protection systems. Educated and protected children will have the opportunity to become healthy, productive adults who contribute positively to society.
