Build an Education Center for Children in Colombia

En el CEIII tenemos un ingeniero mecánico voluntario de 27 años, que usa la tercera ley del movimiento de Newton (Toda acción conlleva una reacción igual e inversa), para hacer volar cohetes, la creatividad, y elevar la capacidad de transformar vidas a partir de voluntad y recursos limitados pero muy bien utilizados.

Con unas botellas plásticas de 2 litros, algo de agua, una bomba de aire y mucha voluntad, Orlando Cerón, puso a volar la mente de los niños. Cada uno de ellos diseñó su cohete a su gusto, y le añadió las piezas conforme a su deseo, los cohetes de agua se pusieron sobre una plataforma de tubos PVC en la que se disponía de la bomba de aire para presurizarlos previo a su lanzamiento, después, cada cohete voló tan alto como sus ilusiones.

Ahora viene la fabricación de planeadores y aeromodelos, para que los hagan volar lejos y unidos a sus sueños. Es así como nuestro voluntario logra que los niños beneficiarios del CEII interioricen que su futuro no está definido por el entorno en el que viven, sino que pueden desarrollar sus sueños a pesar de él, siendo conscientes de las capacidades que tienen y que pueden llegar a desarrollar.

Todos los proyectos que Orlando traerá para los niños, llegarán cargados de futuro, un futuro mejor para todos.

At the CEII we have a 27-year-old volunteer, a mechanical engineer, who uses Newton's third law of motion (every action carries an equal and reverse reaction), to fly rockets, creativity, and give wings to the ability to transform lives with pure will and limited but very well used resources.

With plastic 2 liter bottles, some water, an air pump and a lots of determination, Orlando Cerón, started to blow the minds of the children. Each of them designed their own rocket to their liking and added the bits and pieces to their desire, the water rockets were placed on a platform of PVC tubes in which the air pump was use to pressurize the bottle rocket before its launching, then, every rocket flew as high as their illusions.

They will now manufactured gliders and airmodels, to make them fly away along with their dreams. This is how our volunteer achieves that the children beneficiaries of the CEII internalize that their future is not defined by the environment in which they live, but they can develop their dreams dispite of it, being aware of the capacities that they have and that they can develop.

All the projects that Orlando brings for the kids, will be filled with future: A better future for everyone.
