Elema sends thanks to the American Foundation for Children with AIDS and everyone who has supported our livestock project for the orphans in Congo. Elema is caring for two grandchildren and was selected to receive one male and one female sheep. They were able to breed the sheep and return two females back to the program for other families. Elema and her family have also benefited from our seed program. She has already harvested maise, cassava, groundnuts, cowpeas and beans.
Thanks to your donations to support our livestock project, the family eats well. The children, Joseph and Esther, are in school and the family is generally healthy. They have a bright future and they understand that your financial support makes it all possible.
Please know that your generosity is truly making a difference in the lives of this family and many more in our program. With our partners on the ground, the children and their families receive the support and monitoring they need to make this a very successful project. We are changing lives day after day. Elema feels your love, and so do we at the American Foundation for Children with AIDS.
