One unaccompanied minor:
"It was great seeing my mother again, but after the excitement we saw where she was staying. A college building, six families to a room. No food except what was sent by aid agencies. The first night my shoes were taken, the second my back pack... by the third day I was so hungry. So I told mother I was going back to the shelter we have food there..."
There are thirty underaged children at the shelter at the time of reporting. Psychologist do group and individual counselling, carers make sure they have what food is available, at present it is cabbage! Though they did have some meat over Easter!
They are doing simple gardening, basic schooling and enjoying being safe and fed...
