One and a half year old baby girl M. was found wandering the streets. Someone picke her up and took her to the police station where they contacted social services and waited till someone would report a missing child.
But no report came and little M. ended up in our safehouse...
Leaving us with many questions: How in the world can someone loose a one year old child? Why is there no report to the police of social services? Why is thre no distraught family looking all over town to find their lost child?
So is she actually lost of was she "lost" on purpose? We usually deal with abandoned new-born babies, we know what to do, we know how to search. But this is a toddler...this is a child who looks cared for, a child who has been loved. But a child who doesn't have the words to tell you her name, where she is from and who her parents/ caregivers are.
We have taken in this sweet little girl and are intensively searching in the refugee centers and in the community. Till we find her family we will love her and care for her.
We are thankful for donors like you, who makes it possible for us to take in these very needy children, love them, care for them and find a sustainable solution for them
