Hello. This is U NINE Change, a Korean NGO that supports education and medical care based on fairness and transparency.
U NINE Change has established a fund-raising fund to support education and medical care for children in Tondo Garbage Village, and It's been over 2 years. We sincerely thank you for your interest and support.
We would like to share the latest news from Tondo Village, Philippines.
Tondo is one of the world's third largest slums, a village formed by mountains of waste collected in areas such as Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
Even among the rotten water, sewage, and stench flowing from the mountain of garbage, children are born and grow up just like any other place.
Children are scared because they are exposed to diseases caused by all kinds of bugs such as skin diseases and mosquitoes viral infections.
When we asked what these children need most, it is the importance of vitamins for immunity.
U NINE Change visited Tondo last February and provided children with much-needed cold medicine, children's vitamins, snacks, and sanitary pads.
Thanks to our sponsors, we were able to give children the gift of a healthy life once again. We ask for your interest and support so that we can give the gift of a healthy life to children in the Philippines this year as well.
Thank you
