Dear Supporters,
As we step into 2026, we are grateful to share a brief update from the Tondo community. Thanks to your continued support, children living in extremely vulnerable conditions are experiencing meaningful improvements in their health and daily lives.
Over the past few months, we have:
Continued distributing vitamins and essential medical supplies to both existing and newly identified children
Provided ongoing care for skin conditions, with more consistent use of ointments and early-stage treatment
Maintained the distribution of masks and hygiene items to help reduce respiratory and waste-related illnesses
Expanded small-group education sessions, reinforcing practical knowledge on hygiene, wound care, and disease prevention
As a result:
Children are showing stronger resistance to common illnesses and fewer severe skin infections
Parents are responding more quickly to early symptoms, preventing complications
Health awareness within the community continues to grow steadily
Looking ahead, we plan to:
Strengthen preventive care efforts ahead of the hotter and rainy seasons
Increase outreach to support additional children at high risk
Enhance caregiver education to ensure early and effective home-based care
Your support continues to create real and lasting change in Tondo—helping protect children in one of the most challenging environments and giving families the tools to care for them with confidence.
Thank you for standing with us and making this progress possible.
With sincere gratitude,
U9Change Team
