Summary

Join Chamos in our long-term mission to bring healthcare and hope to the children of Venezuela. By donating today whether that is one-off or a monthly gift, you can help give lifesaving support to malnourished babies and new mothers, facilitate healthcare and dentistry clinics in rural communities, distribute and fit paediatric wheelchairs, provide physiotherapy to children with disabilities, and ensure families have clean water to improve their overall health and sanitation.

Challenge

Venezuela's healthcare is in crisis. Shortages of supplies, equipment and medical staff have hindered healthcare access for the most vulnerable, in particular children, women and those with disabilities. The deteriorating water infrastructure has led to a surge in waterborne diseases, severely affecting nutrition, child mortality, and the health of the next generation.

Solution

A generous donation today will go towards lifesaving aid to malnourished babies and mothers, and the delivery of workshops focusing on long-term solutions. It will enable regular healthcare and dentistry clinics in rural, underserved communities. Further, it will support vulnerable children living with disabilities with specialised wheelchairs, and physiotherapy. Finally, you can help give access to clean water to ensure families stay safe and healthy.

Long-Term Impact

Chamos is not only responding to urgent needs of children today, but we look to tackle the root causes of Venezuela's health issues to have a sustainable, lasting impact and strengthen the next generation. For example, we provide postnatal care and education for new parents on nutrition and sanitation; we deliver follow-up physiotherapy sessions for children with disabilities who receive a Chamos wheelchair, and across all our work, we are prioritising access to clean, purified water.
