The recent earthquake in Qinghai Province, China, killed nearly 2,000 people, injured 13,000 and displaced more than 100,000. We will provide clean water to displacement camps, schools and hospitals. Clean water is of utmost importance for the long term health of the individuals and communities affected by the recent earthquake. Our organization, as one of the only ones focused on clean water projects within China, is perfectly suited to provide this to those most immediately impacted.
Our organization provided the single largest donation of water purification after the Sichuan earthquake in 2008- which now still provides more than 50,000 displaced families clean water. This approach will be replicated in Qinghai with equal vigor.
Since 2004 in China, we provided more than 200 orphanages, 20 schools, 4 hospitals and 15 displacement camps reliable and consistent clean water. Using our standardized approach, we will provide the same for displaced communities in Qinghai.
