Our community impact Christmas project makes Christmas possible for families with low or no income, who are experiencing poverty and cannot afford to put decent meals on the table or provide Christmas gifts for their children. Every family deserves to experience the love, hope and joy of the season and children should feel loved, special and valued in the joyful spirit of the holiday season. Our goal is to support 200 underprivileged families in our community to not go hungry this Christmas.
Most families with young children in our community struggle to put food on the table. The constantly rising inflation, cost of living, and the recent flooding has deepened the poverty level. Parents are not able to provide decent meals for their children and many go hungry. Christmas is a luxury to a vast majority who have never shared in the joy of receiving a Christmas gift. Also, crime increases during festivities, driven by desperation to survive.
We provide nutritious food items for families to create meals during the holiday season while giving hope to the mothers who derive joy in providing homemade meals for their children. We also give out Christmas presents to the children. "Santa" visiting the community and delivering the gifts to the children is an experience most of them have never had, giving them the opportunity to experience the joy of the season.
Our community impact Christmas project guarantees meals for struggling families and gifts for the children at Christmas. This inspires hope and leaves the children feeling special, valued and loved. It increases their self esteem and keeps children off the streets and out of trouble, while reducing the desperation and ensuring a safer Christmas for the Community.
